My doctor tested me for everything the first time I was pregnant and again with this pregnancy. I'm sure your family doctor can send you for testing also

Remember that STI testing isn't a regular part of routine physicals - you have to ask for it to be done - so that extra swabs or blood tests are taken.
I'm always open to trading for pet product coupons (especially free products and high value coupons) - I donate these items to shelters and rescue groups. My motivation - My Dog. Read his story here: www.freewebs.com/michelle_and_dinglehopper

Before I used to get into a serious relationship (with my ex-dh and my current) I would go get tested along with him, so we would both know for sure before we stopped using condoms.
Some STDs can be scary. But some are easily cured. Don't freak out, just go get tested and take it from there. That is my best advice.Remember that even though pets are here for such a short time they teach us things we would never be able to learn in many lifetimes on our own.

I work in the healthcare industry and worked for a STD centre for 3 yrs. In my area, the STD centre is for everyone and anyone who needs testings. It is personal and confidential, you can use an alias to open a file if you're not comfortable with using your real name. You must remember the alias you used so you can get your results. It is free. They even provide plan B pills at no cost and of course free condoms. It's an excellent alternative if you don't want to go through your family doctors.

My family doctor will do testing. After finding out my ex wasn't faithful and some sketchy things I was too embarrassed so I went to the std clinic through the health clinic. Thankfully I was clear but there's always a risk. I did have an hpv scare way later. Caused me alot of stress. Pretty cancerous cells. Thankfully cleared on it's own after tests every 6 months. This can be life and death. I don't take chances anymore.
