Weekend Deals :)

Started the weekend shopping on Friday as I had plans Saturday morning and didn't think DH would want to go shopping in the afternoon which turned out well as the few stores I hit on Saturday were mad busy Didn't find any great deals at RCSS, just got a few basics.

Saturday DH drove me to my nail app't but before I ran into Price Chopper to check the price of Astro yogurt and EB Fruit. Fruit wasn't on sale but Astro yogurt was still $1.99. Grabbed 6 containers for $0.99 with my $1 coupons. We make smoothies every morning in our Magic Bullet blender and go through yogurt like crazy!!!!!

Also headed to CT and got 8 bags of Friskies cat treats- 8x $0.84 - 4x Buy 2 Save $1 = $2.72
While there bought the 4 slice toaster on sale for $37 something. Wanted the Black & Decker coffee pot for $19.99 but they were out. Will try another store this week closer to home or will get a raincheck

After my nail app't I stopped at the Loblaws on the way home and found the following:
2x My First Operation games @ $9.00 - 2x $10 coupons = FREE
Aveeno Body Wash @ $4.99 - $2 = $2.99
Dentastix Dog Bone @ $4.37 - FPC coupon = FREE

Then it was off to Sears at the mall. Wanted to see if my favourite towels (Royal Velvet) were on sale. I very sadly discovered that they are discontinuing them I have chocolate brown ones and light coffee coloured. There were only 2 chocolate browns left so I grabbed them. Didn't realize till the cashier was folding them that they were two different sizes, one regular size and one super large. The largest was $12.99 and the smaller one $9.99. I will have to check some other Sears to see if I can find more. I have been slowly replacing my older towels with these but I will have no choice now but to speed up the process

Starting to feel the burn with the bags adding up I headed to Toys R Us to see if I could find some games on sale.

1x Candy Land @ $12.99 - $10 coupon = $2.99

Heading to the bus I stopped and got a drink, paid $3 for a Fuze drink . Knowing that they were on sale for $0.99 at Loblaws made me sick but I was thirsty. Tried the mango orange and it was so good I'm going to have to buy a few at the cheaper price

Headed home after that, too exhausted to shop anymore Wanted to head to GT today to see if Majesta was still cheap at my store but now that hockey is on there is not a chance that DH would drive me!!!!! So perhaps tomorrow
