Just got off the phone with the Regional Manager of Swiss Chalet - He couldn't believe all the trouble I have endured - We have been invited back for a second time (all 11 of us) COMPLETELY ON THE HOUSE - except no alcohol!! Sounds good to me - and since DS is turning 5 on Wednesday but his party is not til Saturday I said we would come on Wednesday at 7 to celebrate as a Family - and he said he had the night off and would be happy to come down to the restaurant wth a CAKE AND CANDLES to personally thank us for giving the restaurant a second try and to wish my son a happy birthday - NOW THATS GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! |Oh and he made us a reservation this time around!!!

After having a truly bad week last Friday, a female cardinal landed on my fence just outside the kitchen window. She looked at me, then flew over and landed on my window ledge, maybe two feet away from me. Her bright red mate took her old spot on the fence. After tilting her head at me, she flew off, with him following closely behind. That was the highlight of my horrid week, a few birds trying to cheer me up.

i found the yucca plant that i was looking for and it was under $6 ... not only that, but there were two plants growing in the container
