It didn't work. I was only going to buy the diapers. The cashier said sometimes it takes it off multiple times and sometimes it doesn't and has no idea why. I just bought the one package. $2.99 for a pack of diapers, I can't complain!

I had a question that needs some clearing up, and hopefully someone here can help. My mom is going to get some stuff on thursday for me, and will use her senior discount. She's going to get two products worth 79 dollars before the discount, and after the 20% off it'll come to 63.20. She's also going to redeem 60 dollars worth of points. So if you take off the 60, it'll be 3.2 left, but what I want to know is how much she'll have to pay with tax. Like will it tax the 63.2 and then take the 60 dollars off that?

I did yesterday. I had a 8000 pts wus 30.00 on food and it worked. I think it depends on the cashier. Mine was a teenage boy, sometimes I find them the best ones as they never give me hard times..Lol...

Yes - unless you are able to get the cashier to do a no receipt return. This is more likely if you're exchanging the product.
With Shoppers, even exchanges are first entered as returns - most stores will scan the receipt. When the return is processed, you lose all points associated to the product, which means you lose the bonus points because they were associated with the product too.
Only time this is not true is if your amount is still over the threshold after the return (say you spent $95, so your $20 product return will still leave you at $75).

I did the opposite yesterday. I used my personal get 18,500 on a 20x day. Since the points are added later (and it does say cannot be combined) I'm not holding my breath.

You'd get 20% off but I think you need to spend $50 to get it. I'd call the store first to see if they would allow you to stop with his card. I would suspect they need your dad with you as otherwise they don't know he's a senior.
