    WEEKLY RECYCLE BIN WALK
    Ah, at 6am... was dark cuz of time change, lol. But with the light of my cell phone (and crazy wind that eventually brought in snow!) I managed to find...
    Three and a half more RedPlum coupon flyers.
    The current LD flyer (didn't get it cuz I moved.) *not pictured*
    One $2.50 Europe's Best Fruit coupon from a cereal box.
    Three magazines... two are new, but I don't think they'll have coupons, but who knows!

    WAL-MART

    (2) Snuggle -60 loads- (price match Zellers @ $4.99 each), minus (2) MIR = FREE
    C.L.R cleaner (price match Zellers) = $6.99 *have a raincheck for one at Zellers, but I questioned if mine even carries THIS one, so I thought I should get my hands on it, lol*

    Total w/tax = $7.84

    SO, liquid fabric softener... never used it... does it basically replace bounce sheets in the dryer? Or hmm? lol

    ZELLERS
    Billy Bee honey = $3.99
    Oreos = $2.29
    (6) Clover Leaf favored tuna (price match LD @ $0.99 each) = $5.94
    DanActive (price match Co-Op @ $3.99), minus $2 = $1.99

    SPC = $1.62

    Total w/tax+deposit = $13ish

    COUPON:
    Wal-Mart: *lady handing out samples... she was away when I first passed her, so I took some coupons, lol*
    Save $1 WUB any 3 Nestle Turtles Egg (32g), Aero Egg (23g), Rolo Egg (32g). Expires June 30, 2010.

    I didn't get a chance to do the recycle bin thing here last week but am doing so for sure next week!!!!!!!!!! Going to get up early so that I can walk a few blocks before I have to head to work, last week no one had the boxes out the night before Plus, this way I'll get some exercise in too before work Great finds

    You must have been in Edmonton...lol I was just there and grabbed some of them Red Plums from the recycle bins across from Bonnie Doone when I was trucking there on Tuesday. Great isn't it. Wish we had those here, but the recycling industry is like Gold here and everything is under lock and key quite literally!!

    I do this on garbage night/morning when the bins are in back alleys or sidewalk. Ultimately, it was put out there to be recycled, and the person that put it there is aware of that. If anyone asks you what you're doing... be honest. "Looking for coupons! Looking for flyers! Looking for cereal boxes with coupons!" Be friendly... no one has ever asked me anything yet, lol. People have seen me tho. And always, always... don't make a mess! I also don't DIG in them.. I peek and if I see something that may be a flyer or coupon.. then go in carefully.

    As a young kid I would literally look thru garbage cans... i lived in an apartment in the middle of MANY apartments and I could stroll up the alley, hop in and find GREAT stuff people decided to throw away. I believe I only did this as money was tight... but again, I didn't rip open bags and get a lovely surprise.. I wasn't THAT into it, lol.

    My man wouldn't let me go last night
    I can only imagine what I missed out on. Just down the street (other side of the tracks lol) are those kind of people. You know... the ones who throw away coupons.
