Okay so I'm really confused new to twitter, PrincessaElla I haven't entered any contests yet because I'm not totally sure how to, this may sound really dumb but do you just follow different companies? How they notify you if you win? If anyone feels like helping me that would be amazing!!

follow some fellow SC'ers and check and see what companies they're following, then you can follow them as well - a few that come to mind are Blockbuster Canada, Maple Pictures, Cold FX, tassimocanada, McDonald's Canada...

then check for new tweets frequently so you don't miss a contest opportunity - sometimes they'll ask a question then pick a winner from the people than answer correctly - when answering, be sure to use the reply function, so that the answer gets directed to whoever is doing the contest - when you hit reply, it'll show as @tassimocanada in the message box, for example, and you enter your message and submit

likewise I suggest following others on here and if you're worried about missing your name then dl tweetdeck. You can load both fb and twitter on it and it will tell you is your are mentioned anywhere on twitter never miss a contest welcome aboard

My question for the pro twitter users, what the heck is a twitter party, how do you join, what in the world do you do? That really confuses me, id love to join a twitter party when they have one, but I dont know what it even means lol!

can anyone tell this twitter n00b how to link to a specific tweet? like when you enter a blog contest and they ask for proof that you tweeted something, how do you do that?
