The Total Perspective Vortex derives its picture of the whole Universe on the principle of extrapolated matter analyses.
To explain — since every piece of matter in the Universe is in some way affected by every other piece of matter in the Universe, it is in theory possible to extrapolate the whole of creation — every sun, every planet, their orbits, their composition and their economic and social history from, say, one small piece of cake.
The man who invented the Total Perspective Vortex did so basically in order to annoy his wife.Last edited by rock lobster; Fri, Jun 25th, 2010 at 08:38 AM. Reason: never first for ww words

Morning all, thanks for the overnight words and such.
Well, second day to work from home. I find it quite challenging to work from home in the summer, with the pool beckoning and all. Yesterday was mostly cloudy until lunch, but what a beautiful afternoon. Tried to work outside, but it was too windy and my paper was flying everywhere. Better bring the paper back inside...
Today is starting chilly, so I figure I can get some work done in the morning, but I'm planning to take my afternoon off.

Good morning fellow Qbers!!!
Today is a glorious day, and to top it all off, its FRIDAY!!!! We LOVE you Friday!!
I hope everyone has a fun and relaxing weekend ahead of themselves, now that the move is all done, its time to actually have a weekend!
Also happening today, a BIG matchup in World Cup, Portugal vs. Brazil... which of these 2 giants will win today's matchup. Brazil has already proceeded to the next round in the tournament, and Portugal having won 7-0 against Korea DPR, has given themselves a mighty large advantage over that of Cote D'Ivoire. Will the Brazilians bench there best players, or will they enforce a heavier defence now that Kaka is being benched due to his red card(which was arguable) in Brazil's previous matchup against Cote D'Ivoire. This should be a great day for some football.
And lastly, but not leastly.... thank you to everyone for the congratulations, the WW's and the Beatles WW's! You guys never cease to amaze me, thank you all so very very much.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What do the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Titanic have in common?
They both look good until they hit the ice.
