I have full sun am and pm. From the back of the house to the front.
In my office I have 3 computers going with 4 monitors. If I didn't have a/c I would not function well.
Presently, my outdoor thermometor reads 33.9 degrees and it isn't in the sun. My house is set at 23.5 = approx 74. Most likey will raise it a bit as it has been running constantly.
Cheers!

Just got home from work - where I was wearing a sweater all day.
AC non-existent. Hubby called a friend in the business who popped over this aft. He said he could fix but it would be rather expensive, should replace entire unit (but we kind knew that -it's been acting up for the last 3 -4 years). However, before replacing AC, suggested that as the furnace is almost 25 years old, it should probably be replaced first. Honest guy. I like that. But man, o, man - It's hot in here!!
Hubby and dog spent the afternoon on the deck in the shade with a nice breeze. Actually quite comfy out there. Really comfy in the basement. Ground floor rather on the uncomfortable side. Second floor freaking stiffling!! Once I get through paying these bills (am wasting time here .... BMOonline site taking 4ever to refresh) am going out to dinner ...... hope dog knows enough to stay in the basement!!
Courage is not the absence of fear but acting in spite of it.

No Ac in the house. Spent the last half hour in the truck with the Ac running and having a couple of brews. Going back out in a few minutes. Hope the cops don't pull me over in the driveway. Picking up a unit from my daughters tomorrow. The dog and I may sleep in the tent tonight, if not, I MAY BE HAVING HOT DOGS LATER ON.
Have A Nice Day...Stewy

Hello fellow SCers!
What a moogie Monday it was today. I'm not complaining about the 30+ degree weather. Heck, it could be worse by being -30!
Anyhow, I am just about to check out today's happenings on the Q thread and collect some winning words. Thanks, in advance, to all for your contributions, of course I'll rep you along the way.
Have a magnificent Monday folks!

Howdy folks. Don't you just love this awesome weather!? Mind you, I'm not looking forward to it tomorrow. Unfortunately, I'll be dressed in a full suit as I will be attending a funeral. It's going to be a long, hot day. Already dreaming of getting back home tomorrow and stripping down to a pair of shorts.

I have a rather embarrassing problem. My youngest daughter was given an unwanted end-of-school gift from a classmate and now I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle. Head lice...ew! I used a cream rinse recommended by a pharmacist on Wednesday and they're back today full force. By the sensitive nature of this topic, it's OK if nobody wants to reply but if anyone has had good results with a particular product or has other helpful hints or suggestions please feel free to PM me. HELP!!!!!
Just because something isn't right for YOU doesn't mean it's wrong.
