I wondered and do not recall seeing it on route to Buffalo .

We went there a couple of years ago.. Saved money by booking on line however they have a great many religious groups who have 3-4 day long events at the park. Make sure you check before heading there. The line ups were almost worse than Disney. Only Disney at least gives the opportunity to buy tickets for rides in advance the same day, for a nominal fee of course. ;)
Crystal Beach was just west of Fort Erie. The Comet was on the edge of Lake Erie and the skyline of Buffalo was easily seen from the top of the ride. Really neat at night when you were a kid. . It was a great spot , rides of all kinds, the Magic Carpet was a favorite, the bumper cars of course and the Wild Mouse to name a few.....it beat the CNE.......spent many hours there, many dates, many family picnics. It is now an adult Lifestyle community................too bad.
I never made it to Crystal Beach. I was always too much of a coward to get on the big roller coasters, although I do like the ones that are like a giant octopus where you're in a little car & go up & down & spin. I think it's the feeling I'm going to go flying headfirst that bothers me.
Anyone else hear the news Toronto has a brand new beach? It's called Sugar Beach located, appropriately enough, by the Redpath Sugar company (foot of Jarvis). Maybe we should have a picnic down there, then take over the Q office in the Corus building nearby. :P

We COULD go to Crystal Beach... but the gated community that exists where the amusement park might take offense to our tom-foolery. :lolsign:
I used to LOVE roller coasters. Hadn't been on one in a while, so last summer the non-girlfriend and I went to Canada's Wonderland to celebrate our "non-iversary". She's not as much of a roller-coaster fan, but she didn't mind waiting while I went on Behemoth.
After riding it, though, I know it's definately a ride more suited to smaller people, lol.
Lotsa these, though.
