Arrived here 10 minutes ahead of scheduled, and the hotel room was ready Ususally, they have you wait for 1 to 3 hours.

It's almost dinner time (well, 4:30pm). I'm meeting my boss and another co-worker in 30 minutes for an early dinner, and than it's early to bed. Getting up tomorrow morning at 1am Toronto time is never easy.

Hey All,

Went to the Festival at Woodbine Park yesterday. Quite a mixture of musical styles. A few I didn't really like but the last one "Trombone Shorty and New Orleans Ave" were really good. The band was tight and that guy could really play and sing.

Anyways, going back today to see what's up. They were giving out lots of Rice Chips snacks and Skinny Cow Ice Cream Bars!

just got in from a nice kayak ride across the lake. Took about 20 to 25 minutes to go over and visit a friend who lives directly across from me but the ride home was worse as the waves started to kick up and made it a little more challenging to get back. Fun though. anyway hope your a ll having a wonderful sunday.

I enjoyed the British Open. I was pulling for the South African to win....seems like are really nice young guy.......looking forward to the young Canadians coming up ...we need someone to cheer for..making Mike Weir can reach back and win the Open this week.....here is hoping.

One guy to watch is Graham Delaet from Saskatchewan. He was tied for the lead at one point today in the Reno-Tahoe Open before going bogie-bogie-double-double on the back nine.

Hi All,

Back from the music fest. One band had a great guitarist, the other was more female vocal and then cuban stuff.

On the way back there were some girls that found a pomeranian dog wandering around so someone gave them a leash and they called animal services. I feel so bad for that little guy, he was obviously nervous and he will be even worse when animal services gets him and puts him in a cage. I wish I could have taken him and advertised for his owner, but with my cats here........I feel bad for him I only hope he is chipped and they find who he belonged to. I wish I had of taken him, but I was confused what to do, now I feel guilty! They said they didn't want to call the Humane Society after the bad press, but I think they would be better than animal services because they have new people running it and I'm sure they have made things better for the animals... Animal services is more likely to put animals down quicker....All that bad press made the H.S. look bad for sure, and probably worse then they were, but now they have a new start and people shouldn't be negative towards them.

Anyways, gotta go eat dinner......
