Cops probe parasailing donkey

Police have launched an investigation after shocked bystanders witnessed a screaming donkey, attached to a parachute, being pulled by a motorboat over a beach in the southern Russian city of Krasnodar.
“The donkey screamed and children cried,” Krasnodar regional police spokeswoman Larisa Tuchkova told the AFP news agency.
The animal was so high up, some children mistook it for a dog.
The Krasnodar news website Yuga.ru reports the flying donkey was a publicity stunt by a local parasailing company.
“No one had the brains to call police,” Tuchkova added, saying people instead stopped to call newspapers and snap pictures with their phones.
According to the local newspaper Taman, when the donkey finally landed, “it was dragged several metres along the water, after which the animal was pulled out half-alive onto the shore.”



Police are now investigating the parasailing donkey as an act of animal cruelty.







That is so stupid and mean Why can't people just leave animals alone. I hope the idiots involved get the s*** scared out of them some day soon!

Morning all and congrats jomac on 31 years. Just getting caught up again. You leave for a day and it takes a day to get caught up aroundhere. So far AVG, IObit & Trend micro haven't taken it out.
I guess I'll try Malware bites next.
Maybe even resort to the Sympatico free check up if that fails?
Aren't computers fun.
I can't spend much time on it today, I have stuff to do before the concert.
I think I'll find a patio before the show and ponder my options.

My AVG resident shield keeps popping up a virus warning when I enter any page on Smart Canucks this morning. Something about a virus threat in temp internet files called "JS/redir"
It popped up on my morning visit to the SC 680News site as well
Anyone else having issues?

i'm with you there. saw this on the 11pm news & could believe that a bunch of doorknobs thought this would be funny. not understanding people today. logic & common sense seems to have gone on permanent holidays for some people.

Did an avg scan of computer it said it was found and healed and then came back to the forum and wham it hit me again.
