    Hello All:

    Anyone trying to get tickets for the Summer Bash Q is putting on? I e-mailed Alex the other night when he said to and he just got back to me saying someone will be in touch with tickets!

    More of the Beaches Street Fest tonight. There are so many bands to see I go everynight! Years ago I thought it was just jazz so I never came but found out different so I've been coming every year for about 10 years now!!! Its nice to live so close I can just walk home and not have to wait on buses or parking which can be a drag with soooo many peoples! Also, I can use my own washroom instead of lining up in the park for the portable ones!!!!

    Morning All,
    So glad I took today off. Didn't get home until 2! What a great show last night at the Amphitheatre!

    Not a rock event, but feel the need to share anyway.

    Darius Rucker (ex-Hootie and the Blowfish) has an amazing voice and perfect for country music. What an amazing "2nd career" he is having. He set was amazing with a perfect mix of country, rock and pop. He ended with an awesome rendition of "Purple Rain". Which was a little ironic, as it started rain just as the song ended!

    Brad Paisley put on amazing show complete with amazing video displays. Near the end of the show he went out into the audience and sat on a platform where the seats meet the lawns, singing his heart out to the people "in the cheap seats" who sat through the show in the pouring rain. It was a really good night despite the weather.

    My wayward Aunt went to see Peter Frampton at Massey Hall. She said it was amazing! She managed to get up into the six row. She was very excited!
