Anyone ever buy Heart & Stroke Lottery tickets? I've bought them for a few years but haven't won anything until with the last draw! I just got a letter saying I won a Roots Napa Watch Pair ($178)! Don't know what the watch looks like but hey at least I got something! I think its a good cause so I usually buy a ticket.

electric viking: Good to hear someone came down to the Streetfest, well there were lots and lots of people but I mean someone from the Thread. Which bands did you catch? I saw David Rotundo, Zedhead, the Sidemen and Fathead, they are all faves of mine.

Had a meal at Quincys and heard the house band play some great classic rock tunes before we headed west.

We saw Rotundo as well (for his last set), Zedhead - did you see the guitarist hand off his guitar to the young girl? How entertaining. He kept the sound going with his wa-wa peddle. We missed Fathead as they finished just as we walked up. We also saw Jeanine Mackie Band - very good R&B band. We also caught a song or two by Mae Cromwell.

I had to do some work down in the storage room (which isn't air conditioned) at my work and now I look and feel like I crawled out of a swamp! I can't wait to get home and shower - even though I had one this morning!
