Yeah definently not near you then, that group of people was offering everything... and some things that aren't safe to talk about.

I can't recall the lineup schedule, but I know I saw all of Rush, and was waiting in line (for pizza -- weird how at the Pizza place I couldn't hear any music at all, it was like they had sound barriers) and missed all of Justin Timberlake (thank jebus!). But yes, that show belonged to AC/DC, Stones were great too, but you just can't follow after AC/DC -- loved when they played The Jack!

BARRIE - Barrie police are trying to identify the owner of a cat that was killed after being stabbed in the eye with a small pocketknife.
"Obviously, this is going to the extreme of animal cruelty," Sgt. Glen Furlong said. Officers responded to the area of Cartwright Park around 11 a.m. Thursday.
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will conduct a postmortem on the cat, while the police department will do forensic testing on the knife, searching for fingerprint or DNA evidence, Furlong said. The cat is described as a grey tabby.
The SPCA attended to dispose of the animal.




I know this is a horrible article and doesn't brighten anyone's day, but we really need to do something about cruelty laws in this country. People should have something a lot more severe done to them if they do awful things like this. They are obviously very sick but they should be punished severely.


Also look out if you are in Cherry Beach (where I was yesterday) Someone is leaving planks with nails sticking up under the sand in the off leash area. A lot of people are very sick out there!

not understanding people these days & their need for cruelty towards animals or people. that is so sad for poor kitty. there was a kid in my area shooting bb pellets at animals & he got my neighbours cat in the eye. luckily the vet was able to save the cat. it only has 1 eye now. not sure what happened to the kid. they just don't think at all.

NOTE: The astronomer Philip Plait has stated very clearly that the Mayan calendar does not end in 2012 at all, that it is like the odometer on your car, as each section of the odometer reaches 9 and then clicks over to 0, the next number to it starts a new cycle, so that when all the numbers again reach 0 all the way across the odometer - the last number will change from 1 to 2 and the new cycle starts all over again.
