Could someone explain the concept of B I, business intelligence, to me.
The concept is just too abstract for me to comprehend.@

[QUOTE=mflourei;2358761]Good morning everyone, i hope you all had a great (and dry) weekend. Did anyone get a chance to visit the CNE this weekend? Just wondering how it was, I will be going Wednesday afternoon before the Disturbed/Avenged Sevenfold/Stone Sour show at the Molson Amp.
Yes, I was at the CNE on the weekend both Saturday and Sunday mflourei, mostly for music and shopping, I posted more details on the thread on Sunday a.m.

My wife and I went to the Royal Winter Fair and one of the first exhibits we stopped at was the breeding bulls.. We went up to the first pen and there was a sign attached that said,
' THIS BULL MATED 50 TIMES LAST YEAR '
My wife playfully nudged me in the ribs .....Smiled and said, 'He mated 50 times last year, that's almost once a week.'
We walked to the second pen which had a sign attached that said,
''THIS BULL MATED 150 TIMES LAST YEAR'
My wife gave me a healthy jab and said, 'WOW~~That's more than twice! a week ! ..........You could learn a lot from him.'
We walked to the third pen and it had a sign attached that said,
in capital letters,
'THIS BULL MATED 365 TIMES LAST YEAR'
My wife was so excited that her elbow nearly broke my ribs, and said,
'That's once a day ..You could REALLY learn something from this one.'
I looked at her and said,
'Go over and ask him if it was with the same cow.'

It continues to boggle my mind how these 'fixes' come to be...
Need a hotplate?
I can fix that!!
Wiper motor burned out?
I can fix that!
Display rack falling over?
I can fix that!

Good Day Q fans:
I have decided to keep a list of the Pink Floyd winning words, cross referenced to the Q playlist, so we will know if we get them all.
I know we missed a few Aerosmith overnight words.
Here is the chart format thus far: Date, Time, Song Title, Winning Word, Contributor
Any suggestions?
I am also trying to come up with an efficient means of recording Q for a backup in case we miss one.
Rogers doesn't allow recording on my PVR of the 900 channels.
I am trying Freecorder and ripping the audio off my sound card.
Looks ok so far, I am not sure how it caches and saves.
You have to stop it to save the ripped audio as an MP3. Hopefully it won't blow itself up if I leave it ripping for 6 or 8 hours.
I will leave it run for the next 8 hours and see if it works.
If anyone has suggestions or comments, I would be happy to hear here or in PM.Last edited by Mechman47; Mon, Aug 23rd, 2010 at 11:55 AM. Reason: spelling of course
