I hope everyone is great and that Monday served you all well!

Today was another extrodinary day here as we began our adventure with a visit to the Alexander Graham Bell museum. Were you aware that he was the creator, developer of the first Canadian plane/flight, along with a team of 3 others? He also invented the first solar powered wirless phone in the late 1800s, and invented the hydrofoil, and hydroplane. I had no idea. In fact he and his wife built a home across the lake in Badeck which is still visited and inhabited by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, etc....

After that we began out adventure on the Cabot Trail North. The scenery, mountains, roads, views are spectacular. We stopped at many of the lookouts,(they call them look offs here) and even saw a few whales.. with binoculars. We are at the Keltic Lodge and Resort- the newer part near the entrance to the resort. They have a wonderful golf course that I will not have the opportunity to use this time around.

@ 42 seconds is the area we are in and 103 seconds is the dining room we use with breathtaking views from outside on the patio and from within the dining room. Food is wonderful too! The mountains and the Atlantic ocean views to me seem as though I am back in Europe. I had no idea this incredible beauty existed here. There are numerous hiking trails along the Cabot Trial as the moutains are protected green areas and oceans are looked after by Parks Canada. The beaches are ones that you would expect to see in movies.. some with rocky hide aways...
I hope you will be able to view this paradise someday soon, as it is here in Canada. Have met up with several Ontario visiters... and it is great to see.
