Oh man, and I used to really, really adore Burberry!!

Have to share a Wal-Mart moment of my own. Ran out of coffee after Sat's morning pot; the $3 off Folger's made the drive into "town" to go to the WalMart Food place worthwhile. I picked up a couple coffees, some cereal and a couple bag'o'salads (for a dollar each! score). Got in line behind a guy who had a few items similar to mine PLUS 25 packages of $1 pasta and about the same number of $1 bottle spaghetti sauces. I don't know why, but I was taken aback at the number of sale items he was buying. Then I started thinking - there's no limit posted, so he's well within his right to do that. Having been there myself, maybe he's out of work and wants to take advantage of a really good price. Regardless, I was still irked. I mean come on - who needs that much pasta? Until I heard him ask the cashier if he could have help carting all that stuff to the food bank drop off area.

    Didn't I feel like a jacka$$!!

So, I bought my coffee, cereal and salad and promptly marched right back into the store and bought exactly what he did!! I just hope that the person behind me, giving me weird looks, thought the same thing about me as I was being checked out. Let's also hope she did exactly the same thing. (And they told two friends ......)

wouldn't it be amazing if we didn't NEED to have foodbanks anymore and if all the kids could go to school with full tummies.
