Omni Swim Aquatic Supplies has EVERYTHING in their store 22.2% off until saturday. https://www.team-aquatic.com/store/

I just grabbed myself a new 100% polyester suit. I find they last longer than anything else (lycra, spandex or nylon) in chlorinated water.

A few years back, Alex Hindmarch had a contest where listeners had the opportunity to come in and co-host the evening show from 10 - 12. I was all set to go when they cancelled the promotion. A father and son team joined him one night and tried using the time to push religion. This turned off a lot of listeners, so they scrapped the concept.
I wondered what happened to that contest. I auditioned for that by phone.

A single man wanted someone to help him with the household chores,
so he decided to get a pet to help out.

He went to the local pet shop and asked the owner for advice on a
suitable animal. The owner suggested a dog, but the man said,
"Nah, dogs can't do dishes." The owner then suggested a cat, but
the man said, "Nah, cats can't do the ironing."

Finally the owner suggests a centipede, "This is the perfect pet
for you. It can do anything!" "OK," the man thought, "I'll give it
a try," so he bought it and took it home.

Once home he told the centipede to wash the dishes. The centipede
looks over and there are piles and piles of dirty dishes that look
to be a month old. Five minutes later, all the pots are washed,
dried, and put away. "Great," thought the man.

Then he told the centipede to do the dusting and vacuuming.
Fifteen minutes later the house is spotless. Wow, thought the man,
so he decided to try another idea. "Go down to the corner and get
me the evening paper," he told the centipede, and off it went.

Fifteen minutes later, the centipede hadn't returned. 30 minutes
later and still no centipede. Forty-five minutes and the man was
sick of waiting, so he got up and went out to look for the
    centipede.

As he opened the front door, there on the step was the centipede.
"Hey, whatcha' doing there? I sent you out for the paper 45
minutes ago and now I find you out here without the paper! What
    gives?"

"Hold on a minute!" said the centipede, "I'm still putting on my
    boots!"

Yes, I missed you last night while I was pulling an all nighter. How is your daughter doing? All better now, I hope?

I suppose I'm doing my version of the Hollies "Bus Stop"

"Sometimes she'd shop and she would show me what she bought" (except I just posting about it. LOL)

    One more:

The best price on Super Mario Bros. for wii this week is Best Buy or you can take the Best Buy flyer into WalMart and they'll price match.

    I saved $10!

Blame Derringer. He's the one who planted the seed. When they were doing a challenge Chump a while back, Derringer said if anyone felt really bold, they should challenge The Kid at 80's Sitcom Trivia. Two of us challenged, Ryan called and gave us both a pre-test. I missed one question on the pre-test, but was told to hold on to the challenge and issue it another time.

I think the guy who ultimately ended up challenging him that day challenged him in WWII Naval Trivia (as in ships, not belly buttons) and won front-row seats to Elton John / Billy Joel.
What do the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Titanic have in common?

They both look good until they hit the ice.

Probably has the effect on you that Shirley McQueen's voice had on me (and most other men in the GTA) back in the day.

She's still mighty easy on the eyes (and the ears), but, alas, working on the wrong coast, out in Vancouver.

Interesting info, Thank you True & psells

I also auditioned for that. Alex kept after me for a while to call him directly, lol ...
I did leave a voice message and never heard another word.
All Alex eventually told me is they ran into some red tape and the contest was canceled.
