....sure, I'll be yer sis!!!.... my particular fog started back in July...I have quiet days, then some real ditzy days where I seem to fight to put sentences together.....being on here, it gives me time to compose my sentences, and choose the right words...hopefully!!...TR

busy, busy today as I did some last minute cleaning in before the new tenants arrived this afternoon!

I got the basement rented out to a young couple for a few months....he's a hockey player coming from New Zealand to play for the Bradford Rattlers, so it even though it's for a bit, that will take me until March when I am sure it will be much easier to find a new tenant .

Not much on deck for this evening...at this point it just feels good to have my feet up.

Good morning Q-sters...another mighty fine day.
Had a bit of a scare last night. Our downstairs carbon monoxide detector started going off(2AM). Called the fire dept who found a leak in a vent from the hot water tank causing the problem. Repair man just left after a quick fix. Cost $129(weekend rate) to come to the house & $109 per hour rate. Fixed in about 1/2 hour. The repair guy is going to try & put it through as a rental claim although I own it. Sure the bill is in the mail soon.
Make sure you all have working CO2 detectors on every floor as well as smoke alarms.
As a bonus...was suppose to work today but had to use a personal day to meet the repair man...now have a beautiful afternoon off(tired though)!!!

Great advice attitash, and I'm so glad you are okay. Just a technical point, carbon monoxide is CO not CO2.

Came across this earlier today. This is part of Springsteen's The Promise box set, out Tuesday. Bruce and the band perform the Darkness on the Edge of Town album, note-for-note, cut-for-cut. This was recorded at the Count Basie Theater in Red Bank, NJ.

This one's always been a favourite. I didn't think it was possible to love this song any more than I already do. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the album!
