I actually miss them. I liked the fried chicken with a apple cobbler style dessert.
They were a treat back then. Who would have thought that frozen meals would evolve into the mega billion dollar industry it is today.

We had a 30 second sprinkle of rain here but nice and sunny again now.

The April 30th tax deadline is only important if you owe them money.

We're talking 70's - mid 80's here. English schools were the majority back then.
What do the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Titanic have in common?

They both look good until they hit the ice.

One thing I remember from 1971 was that my family finally got a 26" Zenith Colour TV & watching Let's Make A Deal in colour was one of my earliest colour TV memories.
It was a colonial style cabinet and that sucker was heavy!!

Hi all, it's been a while since I've had time to drop by this time of day, but I life has been crazy! I've been getting on at about 4am to catch up on words and codes before they update for the next day. Thanks, as always, to all the contributors.

....and I can assure you, despite the off-color attempt at comedy, english is still the language taught in Brampton schools.

    Have a great Hump Day!
    Are there any SUBURBAN legends?

I think our first colour set was a Magnavox that my Dad bought at Bad Boy on the day before the Grey Cup, 1970 (I think). Those cabinet TVs were complete beasts. Can't imagine that these days.
