This is awesome. It works from your home phone too.
Just leave it to Google to come up with something like this! Here's a number worth putting in your cell phone, or your home phone speed dial: 1-800-goog-411. This is an awesome service from Google ... and it's free -- great when you are on the road.
Here's an example of how it works. I am driving along in my car and I need to call the golf course and I don't know the number. I hit the speed dial for information that I have programmed ... 1-800-goog-411. 1-800-4664-411.
The voice at the other end says, 'City &Prov.' I say, Oakville, Ont,' He says, 'Business, Name or Type of Service.' I say, Glen Abbey Golf Course.' He says, 'Connecting' and Glen Abbey Golf Course answers the phone. How great is that? This is nationwide and it isabsolutely free!
Sounds like good news Ecat. Our little guy had us worried a few years back when he decided to eat a twist-tie ...yes the kind with metal wire in the middle. He had an x-Ray and sure enough this little wire showed up inside. In the end (so to speak) he was fine, must've digested it. I guess he's one of those cats that can eat metal. It is very worrisome though when it happens. Now we go into a panic whenever there is a twist tie around/missing. He also likes to chew on elastic bands and the glue on post-it notes...strange cravings.

Nice HABS fan !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :omg:
Oh no, those are worrisome things, twist ties and elastic bands Yikes! I can't buy toys with string anymore because my other kitty Daisy always chews right through the string, she's ruined a few pull thingies on blinds that way! She also likes to lick pictures so I can't leave them lying around (I mean like photos I've taken)! The damage this stuff can do to them is awful and the cost of vets is pretty scary too!:-) Thanks, glad yours was okay too!:-)
