According to a story Tom told when I saw him at Massey Hall a few years back, he had taken a fare to Massey Hall in 1971, the night Neil Young recorded the live album that was released a few years back. Tom decided, on a whim, to park the cab, buy a ticket and check out the show. He said listening to Neil encouraged him to pursue his dream of becoming a musician.

I was at the concert ... he had to behave because his family was there

I am one of the lucky ones. My son arrived back on Canadian soil two days ago.

I am very glad to hear that. When I heard this on the Radio the first person I thought of was you. And wondered if your boy was home yet

That must mean he did two stints as a cab driver or decided to take a second shot at music. Ooorrrrr whom ever writes his bio never heard that story.
