Now now Mmmme..., I believe that the yummy powered cheese you were referencing is like a fine wine, and only gets better with age. Have you ever eaten a box of 20 year old mac n cheese, some would call it a delicatessen. Now i may be off my hinges again, but this is how I was brought up, old boxes of mac n cheese.

It's not about whether the comment or opinion has merits. Never disputed that. Everyone has an opinion on items that are usually polarizing, i.e. gov't and gov't policy, religion, the price we pay for stuff, the service we do or do not get as customers etc. There are other forums for that type of discussion I'm sure.

I thought this thread was focused on Q107, Club Q contests and winning words and those things/memories/trivia/knowledge that are closely related (cute animal pictures are generally the exception to most rules - harmless). Just a thought.

I thought it was about whatever you wanted to talk about as long as it didn't get crazy out of hand like it has in the past. Just to engage people whether it be talk about mac & cheese or a new tax, as long as it gets people thinking, that's what it should be about. (IMO)

This is probably enough back & forth on this item, but you're right ... it shouldn't get out of hand like it has in the past. The issues in the past were unrelated to the core topic...the reason for this thread's existence. As long as it stays close to the purpose of the thread it shouldn't get out of hand...the folks that had a passion about NASCAR had the right idea and in consideration for others that they set up their own thread (good idea & considerate, where they could discuss all things NASCAR). I suppose I'm a stickler for what the purpose of the thread is...which I think is why people gather here. Afterall, the thread topic is entitled: "Club Q Q107 - Loyalty Club"

An Ontarian, an Islander and a Newfie all die and go to hell.
While there, they spot a red phone and ask what the it is for.
The devil tells them it is for calling back to Earth.
The Islander asks to call Charlottetown and talks for 5 minutes.
When he was finished the devil informs him that the cost is a million dollars, so the Islander writes him a check.
Next the Newfie calls Saint-Johns and talks for 30 minutes.
When he was finished the devil informs him that cost is 6 million dollars, so the Newfie writes him a check.
Finally the Ontarian gets his turn and talks for 4 hours.
When he was finished the devil informed him that there would be no charge for the call and feel free to call Ontario anytime.
When the Newfie hears this he goes ballistic and asks the devil why the Ontarian got to call his home province free.
The devil replied, "Since McGinty became premier of Ontario, the province has gone to hell, so naturally it's a local call."
