I was at that show at the CNE. I've also seen Blues Traveller at the Mandalay Bay in Vegas. Great set. The hotel has a beach out back (middle of the desert and they truck in beach sand) and the band played on a stage out in the water. Great stuff!

Isn't anyone out there going to see Dr Hook on Saturday, in Port Credit? You know, the park party sponsored by Tim Hortons (South Side Shuffle). I guess I'm the biggest Dr Hook fan on line right now.

Mike Edwards, a founding member of Electric Light Orchestra, was killed on September 3 in a freak traffic accident in Southwest England.
The 62-year-old cellist was driving in a van that was struck by a 1,300 pound bale of hay, which had rolled off of a truck from a nearby farm. The bale rolled down a steep hill and landed on Edwards' van.
The van was then struck by another vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured in the collision.
Police said they used YouTube clips and photos of Edwards to identify the 62-year-old but they still need his family to formally identify the body.
Edwards, who once changed his name to Deva Pramada, was with Electric Light Orchestra from 1972 to 1975. He quit the band and began teaching cello after converting to Buddhism.

Apparently his passenger shouted out "Hay!!" and he turned his head and calmly said "What?".

(Sorry, no disrespect intended, just some gallows humour).

What do the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Titanic have in common?

They both look good until they hit the ice.

Thanks heavens they re-arranged the set list. At ACC they had RRAL in the middle followed by streamer bombs, etc... then played the encoure and walked off the stage. Didn't come back for a bow! The show and the sound problems sucked. Even Paul Stanley stopped during one of the songs to tell the people he didn't play for couch potatos who were sitting in their seats. He told them to get up! lol....

Hoping this show will be better.
