glad you liked the tim conway youtube thingy. there's one other one that is my absolute favourite and if anyone can find and post it, i'd really appreciate it. it's the one where tim and harvey are butlers. tim tried to turn a massive doorknob positioned in the middle of the door but his gloved hands are too slippery. he ends up mounted on the doorknob, swaying back and forth. it had me laughing for hours!

Another way to seal things is with a straw....
Of course it depends on the size of bag.... too!

Isn't or wasn't there some plastic bag infomercial to store
clothes in using your vacuum to remove the air so it can be
sealed compacted?

The guy who first thought of the idea must be given an award
for imagination and originality !!!

Wow, what a fantastic idea!
Don't have to grapple with rubber bands, spring clips or twist ties.

How to seal a bag and make it air-tight!

Cut up a disposable water (or similar) bottle
and keep the neck and top, as in photos below.

Insert the plastic bag through the neck and
screw the top – to seal.

The bottle is made to be air-tight, such that
water will not leak, the secret lies with the
top and screw!

This is a great idea to share. Good for us and the environment too.

For those of you that may have kids around, a warning for all.

Apparently this is now happening in BC, and I am sure it will spread so please warn the kids &Grandkids.

In case you don't have time to read it / look at this right now:

Kids are putting Drano, tin foil, and a little water in sodabottles and capping it up - leaving it on lawns. When you go to pick up
the trash, and the bottle is shaken just a little - in about 30 secondsor less it builds up a gas and explodes with enough force to remove someof your extremities. The liquid that comes out is boiling hot as well.


Don't pick up any plastic bottles that may be lying in your yards or in the gutter, etc.
Pay attention to this.

1. a plastic bottle with a cap.
2. a little Drano.
3. a little water.
4. a small piece of foil.
5. Disturb it by moving it; and BOOM!!

No fingers left(?) and other serious effects to your face, eyes, etc.

People are finding these bombs in mailboxes and in their yards,just waiting for you to pick it up intending to put it in the trash.
But, you'll never make it!!! It takes about 30 seconds to blow afteryou move the thing.
