My 1 year old daughter typed in '//' and got 9SBs! Sitting at 1,229! Almost ready to get amazon gift cards (3) Are .ca cards better for us? they don't have as much on their site.

I ordered amazon.com GCs and haven't been able to find anything, bc shipping is sooooo high! boo

It depends on what you want. Amazon.com has more stuff of variety - jewelry, clothes, shoes, etc etc but some may not ship to CAnada and shipping may be higher. But i haven't ever been charged duty. On the other hand, amazon.ca has books, watches, and home and garden and electronics. For large items, there is also shipping. All of the SB you earn for amazon GC can be used towards shipping.

Scope out what you want and then work towards that goal.

Lately I've been cashing in for .com GCs (or ordering .ca and trading for .coms, to help those who max out), because DH plays board games and the selection is much better on .com. Even with shipping, to pay $20 shipping and nothing else on an $80 game still rocks.

The reason you don't get duty fees is because Amazon.com charges you it when you order your items, I believe it says something like import fee, just under your shipping cost. What I do is order the Amazon.com GC's to order stuff on black Friday in the usa. I ordered a season on DVD and 2 blu ray movies on amazon.com, and after shipping for all 3 items it was the same price just for the season dvd on amazon.ca

just curious... does anyone actually watch sbTV ? i tend to have it on in the background but then i forget about it and it stops and i have to keep going back and make sure it's playing. and often i wait until the 5% goes up and then skip to the end. it still seems like it takes forever to get through it though.

I have it on while im watching tv or on the web pop back every minute (between .40 and 1.00) and just refresh. Makes it go a lot faster!

I keep it on in the background while I'm on the computer. Pet & Entertainment are the shortest videos so it takes about 40 minutes (20vids) to fill the meter 100%. I don't think it is worth it to leave your computer on and let them play out, due to energy consumption of the computer. I've tried doing it on the Ipod Touch, but I can't get autoplay to work.
