That is the automated reply you get when you place an order. I am pretty sure though it was already gone from the site when cesme77's post was still the last post on this thread.

Sold out items can still be ordered if you have the exact URL, but they won't be fulfilled unless you are lucky. That is why I and a few others here delete that link when we copy and paste the prize ad.

I should have been more specific. If a member is NOT signed into P&P and clicks on the link then it takes you to P&P sign in page....no worries!!

If you are signed into P&P account, then you can still use the link to order the prize YET it's not truly instock. P&P has inquired to people where they got the link to order out of stock prize as I've read it before in this forum. It would be a shame if P&P could link it back to SC site.

Since posting prizes is my nemesis, I don't blame the prize posters. People who have used this site to accumulate enough points for larger prizes should know better. Unless, they only cut/paste the posts with words and skip over posts without words. Hello Waldos........

I apologize if you feel picked on, waynethegolfer. That is NOT my intent.

I'd rather view it as a live/learn note to any possible newbies.

PLEASE OH PLEASE order prizes via the P&P site and NOT use links if they are active in SC post. If prize is no longer visible on P&P site, then it's out of stock.

PLEASE OH PLEASE don't abuse kindness of prize posters. There are many many other P&P forums out there yet this is the only one where members generously alert community to new prize postings.

It will be gladly appreciated as I think we're all waiting to find out if there are brokerage fees, yada yada, since P&P made the reminder announcement for Canadian members.

I think it's going to be a live/learn process as P&P would not alert of possible charges before shipping prize. So we'll have to rely on prize feedback to live/learn.

Keeping my fingers crossed that your prize arrives hassle free!!

I have to agree with Noodge & cityguy.
#1-If the prize is posted on this website, don't use the link.
#2- If you are posting the prizes, don't leave the link. When I post the prizes, I remove it so this won't happen; it does take a little more time.
If the posters don't want to spend the extra time, don't post the prizes as someone else will.
If this site comes under P&P's scrutiny, we may no longer be able to use it. :yikes:

A year or two ago, I ordered something from another country, did not get asked to pay taxes or duty until about a month later. I hope that doesn't happen.
