I understand your point, but if you expect people to always check P&P anyway to make sure the prize is still available, they may as well redeem that way, too. It would be different if the purchase link failed or said "Sold out!" when the prize was gone, but it looks the same whether the prize just went up or sold out ages ago.
I'm just thinking back to Noodge's concern that too many people clicking links that were already pulled from the website may draw unwanted attention from P&P, eventually.
On the plus side, nobody wants most of the prizes anyway, so the links are good for months on end! :cheesygrin:
