Actually most towns, cities and villages have these signs. It's part of the noise bylaws but to be honest a lot of truckers usually ignore them. I for one sometimes turn them off and sometimes I don't. It depends on where I am and which location. typically places like Kamloops which have long and steep grades can kiss my butt. I'm leaving them on for safety. Other places like Sicamous where they actually put out a happy face thanking truckers for not using them, I turn them off as the grade is not as steep and when I turn them off I am just coming up to the bridge before I hit town. It really depends upon the situation and the place, but typically I try to honor the signs unless there is a reason I am using them such as overheated brakes from running a long grade downhill a wee bit faster than I should have. (not uncommon).

I know what it's like to have 'birthday season'. I come from a big family and there's only a couple months in the year that we don't have a birthday. It always feels non stop! Good luck with your birthday season :-)

What a sad, sad sight - when it only takes three ingredients and five minutes to make fresh!

I love the videos, user-id! Our three feline overlords are quite frisky and psycho with the heavy snowfall, and I have been dosing them with catnip so the videos are very timely.

Patches is on a mission to go outside. I bring her out with a leash or in her stroller. She knows shes not allowed outside otherwise. Yesterday and Today she ran outside and 3 of us had to go running after her. We live right behind a highway and she will literally run right for it. I need to teach her she isnt allowed outside unless with one of us. On the otherhand Stripes craps birds if he is near the door.

I planning on getting them a picture with Santa with the local Humane Society ina few weeks. Also, almost have their Christmas gifts bought but the way Patches is I dont think she deserves them.

Back to 1 job again the other hasnt been busy and he said he would call me the next time he needs me been almost a week and a half. Been looking for part time jobs just many wont work around other jobs either.
