One of our daughters had the same thing at the same age, and it made a world of difference to her health and was 100% worth it! That said, it was stressful for both of us when she had the surgery. They let me hold her hand until she was out, so that went okay. They had to get me as soon as she started out of the aenesthetic, earlier than usual, because she was trying to take out the IV and take off the oxygen monitor because she was trying to come and find me. That worked out fine,too, as soon as they let me be with her; she was always one of those children who always needed to know where I was and would come find me or call out to me if she looked around and noticed I had left the room.Quote:
