So sorry that so many of you are having such problems logging in to P&P. I did have a problem the first evening it all started but by the next day it was fixed for me and no problems since. I'm sure I'd be having kittens by now if I were having such long term problems. And with those two 5000 point words!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I read your blog entry, also, DramaLamaBBQ, and admire you for being so open & willing to examine preconceptions. A psychiatrist friend once said the "voice in our head" can be a critical parent, internalized. I guess there are a lot of explanations, and there is probably one explanation that resonates for each of us. Please be easy on yourself. Thank you so much for sharing your blog.

That's adorable! And your tuxedo cat sure looks like Emmet who's sitting here. Same amount of white/placement/etc. Emmet is 12 though and pretty sedate.

I sent an email to P&P 24 hours ago and still haven't heard back, though i'm sure they're busy with all the login complaints
The first time I requested a new password the email never came, but I just tried again and now I'm back in! I was starting to worry about not being able to enter all the hunt words by tomorrow.

I often see comments about "hunts" etc., what's that about? Like I saw one about a "shamrock hunt?" am I missing a spot where I am not going to?

You are not missing any words, as they are all posted here.

There is a different "hunt" each month. The first week there are 10 and 25 point words. The second week, 50 pointers, the third week, 100 pointers, and the fourth week, 200 pointers.

If you would like to try to find some of them yourself, go to the points and prizes site and look for the heading "partners". The words are hidden among all these partner sites. HTH!!

Here is P&P's explanation:

Spring is here! Earn extra points with the SheKnows March Spring Hunt Challenge and claim some awesome prizes!
We are continuing to use a weekly format, so instead of hunting for ALL of the keywords at once, we will be releasing new words with new point values every Thusrday. You can still earn the same amount of points, but in order to level the playing field across the board you will have to visit weekly to find this month's hunt words.

The keywords will only be valid during the week that the tags are visible on our partner pages.
*Note - the tags will be the same design each week for this hunt*

We have hidden SheKnows images-- with Points and Prizes keywords --throughout SheKnows and our partner sites. (An example of what you're looking for can be seen to the left)
Word values range from 10 (easy to find) to 200 (harder to find). Every partner site has at least five of these items hidden somewhere among their pages. Tip: Search our message boards, and you're bound to find even more Points and Prizes words hidden in current posts.(There are none to be found in any private message boards.)
Keywords can also be found throughout our newsletters! So, make sure you have signed up for our Points and Prizes newsletter -- click here to join.
The winners are based upon the first people to claim the most points.

MAKE SURE TO CLAIM YOUR KEYWORDS AS THEY ARE FOUND TO AVOID MISSING OUT ON POINTS.
Please keep in mind, some totals will be off. To fix this, and be sure that your totals are up to date, sign in to your Points & Prizes account and click on "Word Balance." Everytime you check your word balance, it will automatically update and show you your most current balance.
