Hope everyone enjoyed their day.

I was up late last night, spying on some visitors. Apparently, Nikita had to save the world (at least my street) from the bad guys with a car chase or two. Lily dog found it highly amusing.

I baked some shamrock shaped cookies for the neighbour doggies. When I went to put them in the lobby, I ran into a newish neighbour who stopped dead & shouted, "YOU'RE the cookie lady!!!" It was all I could do to keep from doubling over laughing. :)

Some friends are dragging me out to a beading show tomorrow to make sure I don't spend too much time alone (my friend's funeral is Mon). Monday's going to be busy (coffee with a friend in the morning, then the funeral, early dinner with another friend then theatre that night). I'll either be up all night Mon talking to one of my friends, or deal with the grief on Tues. We'll see how things go.

I'm still processing my friend's death, but things are getting better. My parents have dropped by twice, bringing me comedies to watch to brighten my mood, & I have friends & neighbours constantly checking on me. I feel guilty that I take these friendships for granted. I'm going to have to make a point of letting everyone know how much I apprectiate having them in my life.

Off to take Lily dog out into the fog. Luckily, there's no rain (or someone will be complaining about toes getting too wet).
