Thanks so much for all the new words everyone! :)

I'm so bummed about the prizes today :frown: I was really hoping they'd get the Tori Spelling book and to my surprise they do...and then they practically give it away, AND to only the US....completely bummed me out.

You have my deepest, deepest sympathies with your computer problems!! I've had two computers break down on me, and the last one died suddenly one day and I lost everything...my own fault for not backing up every little thing, but still...computer problems are such a bummer!

Been really busy at work the last several months --we are having a Silent Auction Tuesday to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis. My boss is riding a bicycle across the US this year (3,200 miles) with hopes of raising $100,000. We have lots of really good items (approximately $40,000 in value), but of course the items will not bring that much.

Just my 2 cents, but I thought that the idea of this site was to share, what's the issue of someone saying they borrowed them? Perhaps they just shouldn't say anything other than thank you?

Totally agree. If people are going to get so uptight about if words are "borrowed" or "shared" and who found what, then they should just find the words for themselves and not share them here, just keep them all to themselves.

i agree with cesme - there is a posting etiquette, where one says they have
'borrowed' the info.
saw on that place we dare not type their name, ie 'r f deals' that a lot of words
are borrowed from 'sc'. - crazy amount of time revamping sc, eh?
but of course not with the pizzazz cesme does :)

star84 - thanks for the sympathies. DH got the hard drive transferred over. It was running so hot it was causing it to not work, but he pointed a fan at it while he transferred and it all worked great :) I'm very happy it wasn't more serious.

Did it actually say U.S. only somewhere (a newsletter I missed?), or are you just assuming?

I ordered it yesterday as a gift (it sold out within an hour, I think), thinking that even if they rejected it and swallowed my points, it would be no big loss at 15 points. Instead I actually got a shipping notice later that afternoon, so I guess they decided to take the hit on their error. :)

Anything that doesn't explicitly say "U.S. Only", although you may be hit with a brokerage fee if it's a particularly large or expensive item they're shipping. See my post above yours (I'm in Canada).

Most of the time it comes with no cost to the reciever too. I have noticed that shipping can take months (I've only ever redeemed for books and those tend to take up to 4 months to come), but they do always come. Just sometimes they take longer than hoped. :)
