Question on how the "rep" thing works here. I'm used to boards where you either "thank" one's post (with no restriction) or "tip" it (using points you earned by posting yourself). So far I have managed to spread rep to a good number of you (not sure I like how that sounds :D), but haven't been able to repeat the feat for anyone -- nor do I know what good it's for anyway...?

Ive been a member siince March 17th and I have 108715 points..I havent redeemed yet...So far all thats available for me is books and CD's
