Last week I went with my partner to Queen's University Frosh Celebrations. The university blocked off an entire street to have venders and reps from university organizations and local businesses offer their wears to passer-byes.

I got:
-- a magazine of coupons for restaurants and businesses in Kingston
-- samples of energy drinks while I toured around
-- brochures of the upcoming musical plays to be presented by the Drama Department
-- 2-for-one coupon for the alternative movie theatre, The Screening Room
-- loads and loads of free samples of Axe body wash and shampoo. xD It was getting towards the end of the day, and the rep stuffed multiple sample packages in my bag
-- lastly, the most important heartful "freebie" of all -- meeting exciting new people, and making connections to bring more art, music and theatre in my life. Huzzah!

I used to love frosh week all the companies come out with free sample and product. After 1st year you figure out to give them wrong information and take the free stuff. At one time I had more than a dozen traveling mugs and mouse pads.
