    Had an appointment last week and had to park at a parking meter. Expected to pay around $10 for the hour or two. Nice message right on the meters, "enjoy 3 hours free parking". Nice saving

    Yes, I got a one-line transaction statement at the counter last week as it was the only activity after Nov. 9. Thanks for reminding me that I need to call the bank about retaining a paper statement as it goes to online format for Dec. Guess I'll hold onto the account a little longer (two credits in first half of Jan: GST/HST & last quarterly CAI payment).
