I'm a smoker, but I hate smoke smell in my place. I would be telling them to butt out-side, thats crazy being subjected to someone elses poison!
Not only that, but pot is still illegal and I'd be putting forth a complaint to the landlord.

I think the landlord may get rid of them sooner rather than later. He is pretty good, especially when it comes to illegal substances. I know he was able to get rid of people in two seperate apartments because of substances. The hallway at least doesn't reek anymore. I just don't understand why they aren't a little more careful with the stuff, it is still illegal. Smoking is my only complaint with them, I am glad that they are quiet.

I just don't want to be telling someone what they can/can't do in their own living space. It is just driving me crazy as I am all stuffed up from it (asthma) and I find my apartment at times reeks. Although taping the vents shut has helped. I am kind of hoping that maybe they are just subletting and will soon leave.

I had a problem with my upstairs neighbour smoking pot. I have to be very careful about anything illegal because I'm training to be a school teacher, so I complained to the landlord and he got her to butt out.

I know an elderly man who was taken to a police station and fingerprinted because the people living in the upstairs apartment were dopers. The old man owned the house. I think they were dealing.

One mistake and people's perception of you can get negative instantly.
