ExpiredHiya fellow Torontonians!
As many of you know I am a young teenager... I am looking to keep myself busy this Summer by searching for my first JOB! I've tried many retail store but most go for 16 year olds. I'm going to move onto food places and try my luck at a library, but if none of that works out ...do you have any suggestions? I don't want to work at a rec centre or CNE (I'm considering Ontario Place) because ...well I have my reasons
My second question: Where can I find inexpensive (or even better, FREE) dancing lessons for people my age? I'm leaning towards ballroom, waltz or maybe even salsa?
Thanks in advanceThis thread is currently associated with: N/AI Love you; not for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you.

If you are interested in Salsa lessons, try cultural centres - they often have them for way cheaper than dance studios, and sometimes you can find free lessons.
For summer jobs, retail and fast food is always the obvious first option. Otherwise good bets are anything related to tourism or kids, since they increase in the summer. My first few summer jobs were teaching swimming lessons/day camps/babysitting school aged kids, but if you don't enjoy working with kids those would be a pain!Join Swagbucks for free GCs & prizes, just by searching: http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/Chicka

Hey Lynnie,
You could try www.focusonmyfuture.com (InStore Focus). They are always hiring and you can start immediately on weekends and continue through the summer. This is a fun job! Sample demonstrator in a grocery store.

You can try the Ex, you know, I think they hire 14 and 15 yr olds? Maybe?
And fast food, but the horrors for your skin!
And my friend is a page at TPL, I think you get paid? I don't know, lol.
And dance lessons, maybe you can try Toronto Fun Guide? Check your library for the book.
