Question about 20x points at SDM

I read some place on here that at SDM for the 20x points if you buy a SDM gift card you would get 20 x $50 for the gift card. Then send the gift card and get 20x points again but they said that does happen and on my receipt it didn't happen. I must have read something wrong?????

The 20x events always exclude gift cards. But you do get regular points on gift cards (SDM only) everyday. So you could buy a $50 gift card (either on the same day or any other day) and get 500 points for it. Then you could use the gift card to make your purchases on 20x day and you would get the bonus points for your purchases. That way you would double your regular points.

Okay thank you. I misunderstood. I thought you got 20x points on the gift card and then the purchases....
