i did this a few months back, and found just over $900 under my (common) name. unfortunately they couldn't check by SIN, so they send out this affidavit that you have to have signed swearing it's your money, but i honestly don't know if this IS my money. if i knew i was missing the money, i wouldn't be missing it! duh!

It allows you to search just by last name, so I was also able to quickly search on behalf of my relatives and my wife's family too. No lost fortunes I'm afraid, but it was still fun to look.

lol I checked this out years ago.

My brothers and I have $5.35 each lmao it matches because the location was my hometown. My ma said she opened a savings account in our names when we were very little but forgot about it lmao.. Sorry I'm not going thru all this effort for 5 bucks.. sad but true =)

There's $100 for someone with my dads name and same middle inital but its from toronto [he was born there so I dunno].

I really wish they'd give you some more information like when the account that held the money was opened and the persons full name or than address. Would help. oh well

ya theres no info for my match... no bday, sin#, just the name. they said i had to claim it was mine but i dont know if it is, so im not saying it is lol.
