Just to follow up... the $900+ I found for my grandpa WAS his! Lol, and he insisted that since I found it I got a 'commission' of $100 [I just came home from buying my new Tassimo- on super sale at Zellers- with my unexpected windfall!]

I found my great aunt by searching my mom's maiden name. She's got a few hundred to claim. I doubt there should be a charge to claim your money - anyone know for sure?

thank's for the info....but you know Banks charges fees for unactives bank accounts and..i was ripped off 'honestly' be 2 of them....didn't have much money in both but..it was my money and they 'stole' it from me with what they call 'administration fees' for unactives accounts....

Same here. I once was in the negatives because instead of going in and closing an account, I just didn't use it and figured it would expire. Boy was I wrong!!
