Off pit road, Jamie, Jeff, Jimmie, Tony & Matt. Denny the big loser.

McMurray and Gordon

At the green, Jamie out front, Jeff in 2nd.

Stewart hung on outside slips back to 7th

Tony got hung on the outside, while Jeff takes the lead from Jamie.

Gordon takes lead lap 86

Jr passes Denny and so does Kurt falls to 11th

Denny lost spots on pit road due to being too close to the wall. Crew had problems getting the jack in there.

Hey Race Fans - Thanks for all your help with understanding NASCAR.

I had an opportunity to see a Nascar Canadian Tire series race last month. Won tickets from CTV2 to the Wahta Springs 300 at Barrie speedway. Seemed there were a couple few rule differences between the "real" Nascar and the event I attended, but thanks to this thread, I at least had a clue about what was happening.

In the "in for a penny" category - sat as close to the track as possible, which was along the backstretch. Site lines were surprisingly good for being that up close and personal. Sound and vibrations were phenomenal. And the heat generated was most welcome - it was a very cold night for early September. I came to dislike the site of the safety car .... heat dissipated really quickly!!

Won 4 tickets - Hubby and I were accompanied by Kidlet and her beau. The only down side to the night? When Kidlet and I realized they don't say Boogity, Boggity, Boogity at the start of the race!!

Happy back up to 17th.

Jimmie hit pit road under the green flag for a vibration so bad, that he lost 2 laps.
