well here we are at the first race at Kentucky raceway. so far so good. kurt drove down under montoya at the green fl*g to take the lead & keep it for the 1st 31 laps till the competition yellow. he got trapped on pit road & came out 4th. he's now up to 2nd behind his brother, who has been leading since taking the green fl*g after the caution.
there have been a few bumps between jeff gordon & ryan newman a couple of times, but nothing serious, just trading paint.
kyle has a 3.03 sec lead over 2nd at lap 59.
marcus ambrose had to come in under green to complete filling his car with gas. he is now a lap down. somehow got their signals crossed on how many tires to change, so gasman didn't get it all in.
kahne goes around jimmie for 3rd.
denny has been on the move. he had to go to the back at the start for an engine change & with 72 laps he's now in 14th.
no thunder storms report for tonight so i should be good to go to watch the whole race.
