Qualifying was rained out, so the starting line up was determined by practice times. The rain also came last night, so all the rubber has been washed off, so there will be a competition yellow at lap 40.

At the start, Happy took off like a bat out of hell, Carl in 2nd, Jr, 3rd, Denny, 4th & KyB, 5th.

KyB has slipped back to 7th as his brother, Kurt has moved into 6th.

Since Happy has come to Stewart/Haas racing, nobody has led more laps then Happy at Dover.
