#9 spins right after they cross the start/finish line to start the final lap, #12 and #6 go by the #11 and #6 goes to the lead, #12 and #6 make contact out of turn 4, #11 and #12 battle for the win as the #6 sits upside down, the race ends after 209 laps and is the longest Daytona 500 ever.

Crews are working hard to get Newman out of his car. He will be transported immediately to a local hospital.

With 13 to go, Blaney takes the lead.
With 9 to go, Bowman goes by Joey for 2nd.
Caution out with 6 to go. Chastain goes around with a flat tire.

At the green with 2 to go, Joey out frt, DiBenedetto 2nd.
Caution out with 1 to go, but since Joey saw the white flag before the caution came out, Joey wins at Vegas.

LAS VEGAS — Roush Fenway Racing President Steve Newmark addressed the media Sunday morning at Las Vegas Motor Speedway regarding Ryan Newman’s status following his crash on the final lap of last Monday’s Daytona 500.Newmark started the press conference by reading a personal statement from Newman. In his statement, Newman covered a variety of topics, including his gratitude toward the Halifax Medical Center staff, the NASCAR community and his appreciation for the safety features of the No. 6 Ford Mustang involved in the crash.Newman indicated he suffered a head injury in the crash and continues to undergo treatment, also indicating he did not suffer any broken bones or internal organ damage.
As for Newman’s return, Newmark revealed there is no timetable at this point, but Newman is ready to get back into competition quickly — and that his goals have not changed.
Next week, Nascar is in Southern California, for the Auto Club Speedway. Start time is 3:30pm.
Was not impressed with pushing cars out of the way to get to the finish line and that it caused injuries to mr. Newman.
