jr trying his best to be patient. he would rather be up front, but was talked out of it for the 1st part of the race.
robbie gordon dropped back to get trevor bayne & they went from 38th & 39th up to 9th & 10th in 5 laps.
montoya & mcmurray & kenseth & ragan up front so far.
coming up to green fl&g pit stops soon. robbie & trevor are now to the front.
ryan & stewart lead that lap. now going to the back to regroup. kenseth on his radio to his pushing partner to back off, due to stewart going in front of him, so ryan could lead that lap.
caution #2 out for joey logano & a left front tire that spread apart & took his fender with it, due to trevor bayne backing off to find his partner, getting in front of kyle & joey while they were tryoing to go to the pits. joey ended up sideways, saving his car, only to have the left front tire go flat, then ripping apart & taking his fender too. they are going to try & get it back together to help push kyle again.
kyle managed to get out of the way when this was happening & get to pit road before the caution was out. the hendricks team members were already on pit road just coming out when caution came out.
kahne gets the wave around & 3 cars to the wave around, jimmie & jr are now up to 3rd & 4th.
bowyer & burton are in the lead, mcmurray beat them to the line to lead that lap. jimmie edging ahead, now bowyer back out front. lap 75
jimmie now pushing jr , kenseth now pushing ragan. it seems that the pushees are now doing the pushing.
lap 77 the stands go nuts & cheer for jr nation out front.
jr much happier being out front. this is the first time he's lead during the chase.
