here we go at Bristol

biffle has the 1st lap & jeff is 2nd

Bristol is like racing in a clothes dryer, you go around & around, beating & banging & by the time you're done, you've lost a sock.

jeff has let allmendinger go by for 2nd & newman is trying for 3rd. jeff is complaining that the car is pathetic.

there was rain at the track this morning & it washed all the rubber off, so the set up that the drivers have at the moment is not what the driver likes. there is a competition yellow at the end of 50 laps so they can make any changes they want.

1st caution out, poor kahne got it good & he was a bystander. regan smith got him in the back end, kahne scraped the wall, got her under control, but smith got him again & spun kahne down to the apron & when kahne came back up on the track, edwards t-boned him. also caught up in the wreck are kyle & harvick & ambrose.

jr & jimmie managed to just escape thru.
kahne had cleared smith coming off the corner, his spotter had said he was clear, so kahne started coming up the track a bit. meanwhile smith had a good run off the corner & had got kahne in the right rear fender & while smith checked up, keselowski hit smith in the back end which hit kahne in the back end & kahne spun & the rest is history. this is kahne's 3rd big crash in 4 races
pit road is closed due to the crash happening at the enterance.

this is a 500 lap race & the caution came out on lap 20.
7 cars stayed out & the rest came in to pit & make changes. the leader is allmendinger, who elected to stay out.

restart lap 46, allmendinger, truex & vickers

vickers is driving the 55 this week instead of martin. martin is running a limited schedule.

vickers just took 2nd from truex.

vickers is running 6 races in the 55 this year.

stewart is trying to get by cars on the inside & outside, but is not getting anywhere fast.
