Lap 158-Denny & Jimmie are still battling & Jeff has moved into 5th.

Joey Logano & Clint Bowyer got into each other because Ryan Newman punted Logano into Bowyer. the 2 managed to save each other from spinning, but there's left side damage to Joey's & right side to Clint's cars. Newman's spotter came over to tell Joey's spotter that Newman apologized for the incident, but Joey says that doesn't help them out now.

Lap 165-Denny Hamlin has still not been able to shake Jimmie Johnson. The margin between them right now is less than half a second.

Jeff has taken 4th place from Kyle & Jr is in 6th.

Clint had to go into the pits to change tires. because of the contact with Joey, his R/F was going flat. he's now 2 laps down. meantime after getting the luck dog the last caution, Kasey is up tio 14th.

Lap 173-Denny Hamlin has finally been able to open up a little ground on second-place Jimmie Johnson. He's now nearly 8/10ths of a second ahead of the five-time Sprint Cup champion.

Lap 177-Jeff Gordon has picked his way into the top five. He's now in fourth place, 2.5 seconds behind leader Denny Hamlin.
