What a shame that Martin is out. His car was going to be tough to beat. Martin is in good spirits despite the wreck. He did thank his fans & Aaron's for the opportunity to drive the car. The wreck happened just at Kahne's beginning of his pit box.

Lap 70 Mark Martin thanks fans for giving him the chance to drive such a "hot rod."
ESPN keeps showing the wreck & it's amazing how the barrier went right thru the car just like butter. Martin was very lucky it didn't go thru a few inches higher up, but that sudden stop, must have really hurt.
Lap 72 Kasey Kahne is pitting again.
Kahne was also caught up in that mess, but his car is still able to continue.
Lap 74 GREEN FL&G: Clint Bowyer, Matt Kenseth, Martin Truex Jr., Jimmie Johnson and Brad Keselowski are the leaders when the green fl&g comes back out. Bowyer is clear with the lead between Turns 1 and 2.
