I can live with the points system change - 43, 42, 41 etc. The qualifying changes are long overdue , though they still have to get rid of the top 36 locked in - fastest 43 cars race!!! But the chase format is still ridiculus!!! :hahaha: Brian France

NASCAR announced Wednesday that it has added a wild card element to setting the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup field and it has simplified its points system for 2011, making it easier for fans, competitors and the industry to understand.
While the 12-driver Chase field remains intact, the final two spots will be determined by the number of wins during the first 26 races.

I go with a group of about 20 guys every year. We've been doing this for quite some time. We have everything paid for by Christmas so we don't have to worry about anything except fun money. Hope you can find someone to go with. It is a really great outing and can produce some of the best racing of the season. One downside is the weather, last year was exceptionally hot, one year it rained until tuesday.Quote:
